...!!!...

So there I was, perusing the latest selection of trailers, flipping through some choice clips from Cannes-Fest films when suddenly WHAM, my brain was knocked on its highly figurative back-side.  I blinked, shook my head a few times, examined with scrutiny the bottle of Pyramid Blond Ale I was consuming, then slowly let my eyes refocus on the site.  A curiously hallucinogenic yeast was not to blame, there before me, not but two trailers over from The Brothers Bloom, stood a trailer on the front page of Apple.com/trailers for the low-budget children's film produced in my home town and worked on by none other than Daily Monotony contributor Scott Johnsgard.  As my brain slowly began to compute this surreal encounter, dazed wonder turned into outright incredulity.  Don't get me wrong, I applaud the effort of a businessman going after his dream and producing film and (bugger if I know how) managing to sell it to a distributor...but...bloody hell, how did it end up on Apple.com next to trailers for real movies?!?!

In case you hadn't caught on, if this film happens to be showing near you, for the love of what ever deity you hold dear, do not see this film.
