...But F.E.A.R. Itself

Extra Pair of Pants Required

Many years ago there was a game that simultaneously made you feel like Neo in the lobby scene and too scared to even remember words like "lobby."  After being beaten within in an inch of complete obscurity by several substandard expansions and an abysmal next-gen port produced by third parties who will remain namelesSTUPID TIMEGATE STUDIOS...sorry...that game has returned with a sequel by its proper progenitor, Monolith Studios in the form of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

This time the game looks gorgeous and plays like it was properly made for its platform, but is it scary...or worse...scarier?  Let me put it this way, during my time with the 15+ minute Xbox 360 demo now available on Xbox Live, I invented ten entirely new swear words.  Thumbs up confirmed.  Just play with the lights on.  ALL the snatchbozzing lights.

Look for the retail game to drop Feb. 10th.

...oh come you wussy, it's really fun...
