Indie Game Thursday

...or do you?!?

A concept, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in bacon, and deep fried.  That's the best way I can describe this week's venture into the twisted mind of the indie developer with the "oh-so-simple" yet "oh-so-is-it-?" Independent Games Festival finalist You Have To Burn The Rope.  Some how this game manages to encapsulate the very essence of what it means to be a "mad genius."  The game is simple, yet frustratingly so, almost to point of driving you to the verge of insanity just to prove that its simplicity cannot be real.  Only that's when you realize you aren't playing a game.  You are playing an interactive essay about playing a game.  

Bacon.  Deep fried.

Just remember, in the end, everyone burns the rope...
